I am a 6th grade science teacher and I am a mother of 4 daughters. I believe that technology is very important in the classroom, but sometimes I don't know if it is really working with my students. Maybe you can shed some light and answer a few questions for me.
1. As a student what kind of technology do you use at school?
2. Do you believe that the technology you use is helpful and beneficial? Why or why not?
3. Have you learned anything new with the technology at your school?
4. What other technology do you think would be good to use while at school?
5. Anything else you would like to add or share?

ReplyDelete1. In school we use the computers a lot and with the computers we use microsoft word, power point, and publisher.
2. Yes, I believe that technology has been very beneficial with my learning. I have learned how to write better essays, upload pictures from digital cameras, and put together creative and informative power points.
3. This year I have learned how to make labels and pictures using publisher and I have learned how to make graphic organizers.
4. I would love to be able to use personal iPads, Kindles or Kindle Fires, cell phones, etc. There would be so many times that I could look up if I was able to use my cell phone.
5. I really enjoy using technology and so do my friends. Some students would probably try to abuse the use of cell phones, but as soon as they were caught, they would quit. Kids can learn how to use technology correctly in the classroom, even personal technologies.
